OSLO AMATØR 2026

For første gang arrangerer vi Oslo Amatørteaterfestival. Visste du at ordet "amatør" har sin opprinnelse i verbet «amare» – å elske? Denne festivalen er for deg som elsker gleden med teater, samholdet og med å tørre å utfordre seg selv.

Hush!
In this absurd universe people are almost always sleeping. They want to be seen and they long to connect but they don’t quite know how to escape their bubble where everything is painful, but also familiar and safe. So, they keep falling asleep. Are they doomed to disconnection or will they manage to wake up? On November 28^th and 29^th you can join Teater Exit at Oslo Teatersenter if not to find answers, to at least absurdify life from East to West!

Teater Exit’s latest performance is an absurd comedy based on texts by Samuel Beckett, Fernando Pessoa, and poems by Margaret Atwood, Elisabeth Bishop, Mark Strand, Spencer Madsen, Oni Buchanan and Charles Bukowski.
